Here is an announcement (blog) direct from Republic Wireless; an announcement that for anyone who knows how expensive mobile internet/cell plans can be, can only dream of actually receiving news like this. If I heard this from my ISP/cell company, I really would pinch myself.

I'm not even going to spoil this article by summing it up first. Just read the release and dream that it could actually happen if the initiative came to your town. I have hope knowing that just because it isn't happening here, doesn't mean it isn't happening at all. (Although still in beta,) it's happening in North Carolina right now!
